I’ve made it to the end of week 2! A quarter of the way done. I’ve very much encouraged these freewrites. It’s given me confidence that maybe I’ve got more ideas inside of me than I thought. Also, the ability to come up with a short story, no matter how ridiculous, on the fly is something I didn’t know I could do. Today, we had to pick an object from the list of objects we made a couple of days ago and write a story based on that object. “A banana that is hours away from overripeness” was at the top of my list, and I made a pancake using one such banana today, so I rocked with that.
